Overview

The Tranquility® (SA) Premier Air Handler is designed to deliver exceptional efficiency and quiet operation, making it a standout in the ClimateMaster Tranquility family. This air handler is available in sizes ranging from 2 tons (7 kW) to 5 tons (17.6 kW) and is engineered to exceed ASHRAE 90.1 efficiency standards while utilizing the environmentally friendly R-454B refrigerant. It features intelligent variable speed Constant Volume (CV) EC blower motors for precise airflow control, along with a double-isolation compressor mounting system that minimizes noise. The unit also incorporates a Refrigerant Detection System (RDS) for safety and has options for customizable design solutions, including modulating water valves and internal variable speed pumps. Ideal for both new and retrofit applications, the Tranquility® (SA) Premier Air Handler offers installation options for remote locations like attics and crawl spaces.

  • Dehumidification mode for high latent cooling (select thermostats)
  • Three cabinet foot prints: 026 - 18.5” wide, 026–049 - 22.5” wide, & 038 –064 - 25.5” wide
  • Ideal for remote applications like a 2nd floor, crawl spaces, and attics
  • Internal electric heat for easy field installation
  • iGate2 – Remotely monitor, control and diagnose digitally from the phone app or website
  • Large low RPM blowers with variable speed fan motors provide quiet, efficient air movement with high static capability
  • Exceeds ASHRAE 90.1 and ENERGY STAR® 3.0 efficiencies
  • Highest efficiencies in AHRI/ISO/ASHRAE/ANSI 13256-1 ratings for heating COP’s, cooling EER’s with low water flow rates when matched with TEP/TES models
  • Standard 10-year limited warranty on all parts with 5-year labor allowance; Optional extended 5-year limited labor allowance available for a total of 10-year labor allowance
