Overview
The Tranquility® 18 (SC) Compact Single-Stage Series is designed to exceed ASHRAE 90.1 efficiency standards while utilizing environmentally friendly R-454B low Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerant. This series is available in sizes ranging from 006 (½ ton) to 060 (5 tons) and features a compact cabinet that easily fits into tight spaces. Key configurable options include high-efficiency Constant Volume (CV) or Constant Torque (CT) EC motors and compatibility with various Building Management Systems (BMS). Standard features include a unique double-isolation compressor mounting for quiet operation, sound-absorbing insulation, and a Refrigerant Detection System (on size 60, optional on other sizes). The Tranquility SC series is also designed to be backward compatible with many older water-source heat pumps, ensuring application flexibility.
