Overview

The ACDU03 Communicating Service Tool is designed for installation and service technicians to configure and diagnose communicating geothermal heating and cooling units without the need for a communicating thermostat. This tool allows users to electronically adjust various settings, such as airflow, heat pump options, and pump or valve operations. It features a user-friendly interface that provides access to system configuration, option selection, unit configuration, and control diagnostics. The ACDU03 enhances service efficiency by enabling manual operation and fault history viewing, ensuring optimal performance of the geothermal systems it supports.

Configurable Options

  • Airflow settings with valid range obtained from control in 25 CFM increments
  • Blower off delay with a valid range of 0 to 255 seconds in 5 second increments
  • Motorized valve options with defaults stored in control, valid range includes Off and On, with 'On' delaying compressor start until the valve is fully open
  • Compressor ASCD (Anti-Short Cycle Delay) with a valid range of 5 to 8 minutes in 1 minute increments
  • Heat pump family with defaults stored in control
  • Heat pump size with valid range depending on heat pump family setting
  • Blower type options with valid range including NO BLOWER, 2-SPD PSC, COM ECM-V, 1-SPD PSC, 2-SPD CTM, PWM ECM, VFD
  • Loop configuration options with valid range including Other, VS PUMP, MOD VALVE
  • Pump configuration options available based on system setup
  • Valve configuration options available based on system setup
