ClimateMaster Donates Heating and Cooling System to Wounded Veteran in Tulsa, Okla.
June 5, 2015 – We at ClimateMaster love doing our part to help communities around the United States. When it also involves helping out our U.S. Military Veterans, it is even more satisfying.
Recently, Army Sgt. Ronny Sweger was looking into building a new home near Tulsa, Okla. Sweger was injured almost 10 years ago in Afghanistan when he was hit by an improvised explosive device.
The sergeant was on his seventh deployment when he was injured.
To help out Sweger, ClimateMaster partnered with Operation Finally Home, a non-profit organization dedicated to building homes for wounded veterans and their families.

Not the First Heat Pump Donated to Injured Veteran
ClimateMaster also participated in building a home in Clovis, N.M., for injured veteran D.J. Smith. Serving in Afghanistan near the Pakistan border, Smith ran into an open area during a skirmish to rescue two injured U.S. comrades.
On his way back to find cover, a bullet hit Smith in the head, passing through both eyes. The shot blinded Smith and left him partly paralyzed.
Following two years of rehab in Florida, Smith returned home. The community of Clovis wanted to give Smith a virtually free home.
One of a number of companies to donate equipment for the new home, ClimateMaster contributed a Tranquility 30 (TE) Digital ground source heat pump. One of ClimateMaster’s most advanced, technologically advanced products, the TE heat pump unit provides heating, air conditioning and water heating.
