The Contracting Business magazine article titled “Big Comfort Hunter” details how a geothermal system was installed in the Grisar’s home that performs all these functions and won a Quality Home Comfort Award from Contracting Business.

The award is given out to homes based on key requirements of comfort, quality and home sustainability (energy savings and indoor air quality are important elements of this).

When the Grisars were learned about geothermal’s energy savings and the geothermal tax credits available, they were all in.

A ClimateMaster hydronic heat pump was used to heat the home’s floors, and the outdoor pool in warm weather. A ClimateMaster heat pump system was installed to heat and cool the 6,500 square foot home.
