Consumer Comfort
Retail and Restaurants
Shoppers and restaurant guests want and expect comfort, in terms of temperature, air quality and odor. Uncomfortable conditions can also negatively affect employee performance. So the correct HVAC system goes a long way toward businesses maximizing their potential.
But consistent temperature and great indoor air quality can be tough to achieve in restaurants and retail spaces. Kitchens and dining areas are often close to one another, making it expensive to create comfortable dining areas.

Large amounts of ventilation air are required for customers and kitchens’ cooking exhaust. Because of these factors, restaurant HVAC equipment must have quality humidity control and pressurization to prevent humid air from affecting temperatures or creating humidity problems, like slipping or falling and musty odors.
Central shopping centers and malls contain large internal areas where heat can be recovered by ClimateMaster’s water-source heat pump systems. Also, such areas often have multi-tenant usage, each requiring its own control. Tenant spaces can be separately metered for cost control.
The water-source heat pump system allows flexibility in design for comfort control, ventilation and economy of operation plus lower first cost. Large mechanical rooms and big ducts are eliminated with water-source heat pump systems, thus providing more rentable space.

Restaurants
Since they are compact, easy to design and install, and highly efficient, ClimateMaster water-source heat pump systems are well suited for use in restaurants. Here, the system takes advantage of internal heat transfer. The heat can be transferred for pre-heating incoming air required to replace air exhausted from kitchen hoods or to make domestic hot water for dishwashing.
