ClimateMaster CEO Receives Industry Award
OKLAHOMA CITY, May 3, 2004 –ClimateMaster’s CEO Barry Golsen received the 2004 Ambassador Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his contributions to the geothermal water source heat pump industry from the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA). Industry leaders presented Golsen with the award at the annual Geothermal Roundup Technical Conference and Expo hosted by IGSHPA at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Upon accepting the award, Golsen praised ClimateMaster’s employees for their ingenuity and dedication to the company and its advancement of geothermal technology.
“I consider this industry award to be recognition of the entire ClimateMaster organization and ClimateMaster’s leadership position as a pioneer of geothermal technology,” said Golsen.
Golsen joined LSB Industries, ClimateMaster’s parent company, in 1978 as a product manager at International Environmental Corporation and was responsible for the development and introduction of LSB’s water source heat pump product line. He has served on the LSB Board of Directors since 1981 and recently was elected as President of LSB. His professional affiliations include the Oklahoma Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Engineers, and the World Presidents Organization.
