ClimateMaster’s New HVAC Product Wins Dealer Design Award
Oklahoma City, OK, August 31, 2004 - Oklahoma City based ClimateMaster was recognized for excellence in product design in the first annual Dealer Design Awards Program sponsored by The Air Conditioning Heating & Refrigeration News magazine. An independent panel of 13 contractors acted as judges in the contest that had 119 entries from over 75 manufacturers. ClimateMaster’s Tranquility27ä 410A Unit was the Bronze winner in the residential products category. The News is the leading trade magazine in the heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration industries.
“We were honored by the recognition from our industry for designing and manufacturing the Tranquility27ä product line. We knew we had a great product with the 410A refrigerant and were excited about submitting it for consideration,” said President Dan Ellis. “We are proud that ClimateMaster had a packaged unitary product make the winner’s circle alongside brands such as Bryant and Aprilaire. Not only is this product line easy to install and service, but the performance rating has raised the bar on energy efficiency and environmental safeguards for residential heating and cooling systems.”
The Tranquility27ä Series delivers the next generation in space conditioning technology offering the highest rated COP/EER R410A heating and cooling unit available in the industry today. The EER rating of 27 and 4.5 COP at ISO GLHP, or 31.5 EER and 5.1 COP at GWHP, is twice the industry’s minimum efficiency requirements set by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). The use of the environmentally friendly R410A refrigerant supported efforts to protect the environment, while at the same time reducing energy costs.
Winning entries in the Dealer Design Awards were featured in the July 19, 2004 issue of The News, which is distributed nationally to over 32, 000 HVACR contractors, wholesalers, and other industry professionals.
