ClimateMaster Inc., a manufacturer of water-source heat pumps, announces the release of new sales tools and the availability of the award-winning ClimaDry® high tech dehumidification option in the Tranquility Series EarthPure product line, now on display at ClimateMaster’s booth #4961 at the 2006 AHR Expo in Chicago. “ClimateMaster wanted to offer more to its customers with regard to indoor air quality and the sales tools to assist them,” said John Bailey, vice-president of sales and marketing. “We now offer new software, new product options, and the BIG All Products Technical Guide.” ClimaDry® High Tech Dehumidification Option Now Available in EarthPure Product Line The ClimaDry® dehumidification option for the Tranquility Series EarthPure 410A product line is an innovative method of reheating the air. The microprocessor-controlled option will automatically provide 100% reheat by adjusting the amount of reheat based upon supply air temperature, eliminating the problem of overcooling the space when loop temperatures drop. “Since dehumidification operation will generally occur under less than full load cooling conditions, it is important to have a reheat function that provides 100% reheat in the spring and fall when the water loop is cool,” said Bailey. Competitors without ClimaDry® typically use an on/off (non-modulating) refrigeration based reheat circuit, typically referred to as “Hot gas reheat” (HGR). ClimaDry®’s new method of reheat utilizes one of the biggest advantages of a water source heat pump--the transfer of energy through the water piping system. All ClimaDry® components are internal to the unit, saving space and keeping installation costs low. A simple humidistat or DDC controls activates the option. Hot gas bypass is also available in the GLV series, which will be on display at ClimateMaster’s booth #4961. |
